If you want your child to get an education do not send them here. Your child will learn more by staying home and watching Jerry Springer. So very glad I took my child out and she will be graduating from the New Haven School. Be a nosey parent and do some research into where you are sending your kids. This place is a joke.
This school seems about the same compared to every school in Indiana, according to ratings.

I should have done more research before placing my child here. Not very welcoming to new families. People who live in this area seem to live and die here . The school is old and very outdated. The high school does not even have a swimming pool. There are a few good teachers that care, otherwise their time is focused on getting their breaks and being done. Parent portal is not updated from the teachers on a regular basis. Asst principal Singer could benefit from some children psychology classes and the effects of bullying. Carroll school district has so much more to offer and their high school curriculum gives children more preparation for college.
I also agree wholeheartedly with a previous poster, unless your family has been in Leo so long, that your family has a street named after you, forget it. These people do not accept outsiders. I very very happy to graduate and get out!
Like it's neighboring elementary school it is quit, "clickie", but there is a bigger majority of clicks so much easier to fit in and make friends but that also comes along with maturing children. The Leo schools are still a respectable system even if the people aren't that friendly.
I attended this school 94-97. I went to a private elementary school and then a private college. Leo is a joke. I really had to work hard in order to catch up in college. The education is poor at best.
